Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 13 years old and have become highly motivated and dedicated to the sport. I have exceptional stick skills in both hands, and am always working on making them better. I see the whole field while playing due to previous experience as a soccer goalie, and I am quick and attentive. My leadership skills are very strong, and I love to help out my teammates. I work hard and always push myself; if my coaches tell me something, I am eager to carry it out. I work hard at home to get better, whether it's between workouts or drills.
I have been on honor role twice, and aspire to graduate with the same achievement, or greater. I plan on either going into the medical or forensic science field. I have a 3.1 GPA and I am working hard on raising it. I am also part of the National Honors Society and Sports Medicine Club. Lacrosse means a lot to me, but I know that school needs to come first, therefore lacrosse inspires me to do better in school.
I always look forward to practices, games, and events because I love the sport. I strive to do better in school and lacrosse, so that when I am older, my hard work pays off.
