Personal Statement
Hello my name is Leah Kurosky. I am in the graduating class of 2018 at Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Washington. I have been playing lacrosse since my sophomore year in 2016 and have contributed to my school varsity team since the start. Last year I was named captain and was a starting defender. Although I am dominant in my right hand, I can use my left hand to the same ability. I can hold my own as a midfielder but defense is what I specialize in on the field. As a junior, I was chosen to try out for Team Washington by my coaches and made the team to represent my state at Nationals in New Haven, Connecticut.
