Hello, I'm Sofia Hernandez! I am a 2024 student-athlete at Middleton High School. My collegiate goals, are to go to a DIII or DII school, around the midwest or possibly the east coast. I want to be challenged and be able to continue to push myself. As I am a very competitive player, I always encourage my teammates and represent my team! I always work hard on and off the field. I started being passionate about this sport summer of eighth grade and have continued to be passionate. I am passionate about being a dynamic defender all around the field. I am always growing physically and mentally throughout my lacrosse career, always asking for feedback from coaches, parents, and teammates, and allowing myself to make mistakes and to improve from them. I am all about good sportsmanship, showing respect on and off the field, and motivating and encouraging my teammates. I always keep in mind that the way I carry myself as a person reflects on everyone around me, my teammates, coaches, parents, and my school. As I am going into my junior year, academics do not come easy to me, but I always try to improve and work hard at it and put in all the effort to stay on top of my classes and grades. I always plan on giving it my all! I am still unsure about which path I want to take for college. I am interested in Business, Architecture, and possibly even the trades.
