Personal Statement

My biggest aspiration is to be the absolute best player possible, and to do that I need to find the right environment for my skill level. My region of West Virginia only created their lacrosse program seven years ago, which is why winning the state championships was such a huge success this year. It was a true representation of what a team can do with heart and perseverance.
I am very persistent and will not stop trying to master a particular skill or technique, and am always looking for ways to improve my game. While I love scoring goals, I know it is just as important to move the ball and give assists, so I always try to do what is best for my team.
Unfortunately, there are no local club opportunities, but I go out of state to find camps, clinics, and tournaments to learn from the variety of coaches and improve my skills. I have a great respect for my high school coaches who put in many hours at their jobs during the day, and then volunteer their own time to coach lacrosse to a group of high school girls. Between their own excellent instruction and my own determination, I believe that I have improved far past what anyone thought I would become over two years; I also believe that with instruction from a college coach, I have the potential to excel far past anyone's expectations.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
