Personal Statement

Getting up everyday with the plan to work hard, is what makes me different from many other rowers.  No matter what the coach  throws at me, I focus  hard and don't stop until it is perfect.  I believe I help lead my boat by providing an example of a strong work ethic.

Rowing has become a major part of my life in the last four years. It has given me an amazing physical balance to academics.  Rowing helps me focus on academics and provides a schedule that doesn't allow procrastination.  

I want to continue in this amazing sport,not just in college, but beyond.
