I love rowing because my role as a coxswain allows me to help my rowers do their best in practice and races. Crew has been extremely rewarding for me in many ways; I have learned to be more assertive and decisive, manage my time well, and have made close friends with the girls on my team. I would like to continue crew in college because coxing has given me confidence and excitement in a way that no other activity has ever brought me.
