Kelsey White '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kelsey White. Most sixteen year old female rowers view the sport as an obligation or résumé builder, I believe it is a passion. Candidly, competitive rowing keeps me balanced and I need it to feel complete. The sport has given me more joy, principles, and motivation to succeed than any other experience to date and for that, I am eternally grateful. The most significant lesson I have extracted from crew is not only the importance of leadership, but how to be a leader. One day, I hope to fulfill my potential as a leader through a competitive college rowing program. I guarantee my fullest effort and dedication to constant improvement both on and off the water. I aspire to be a conscientious and enthusiastic member of a rowing team for the duration of my four years in college.
