Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Blair Barnett and I am a junior in high school at Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock, AR. I am looking for a college that is both academically and athletically exceptional.
I play right and left outside back for my club team, but am often moved up to an outside forward position by my high school coaches in the spring. I am a starting player in both club and high school soccer and am a team player on and off the field. I am a very coachable player and am able to adjust to any position on the field where I am needed. I am at my best in higher skilled and speed of play environments, which has led me for the past few years to play up an age level.
I am a very strong outside back and am good at transitioning from a defensive perspective to an attacking perspective. I always work to get involved in our transition to goal on the field. I connect well with my teammates and am always ready to learn and get better.
I am looking for a school that is both athletically and academically excellent. I plan to go into the medical field, and a good learning environment is crucial in my college search. I get along well with everyone and am always looking to push my teammates to be their best on and off the field.
