My name is Emily Saltzman. I am a senior at Valhalla High School. I've been playing soccer since I was four years old and started playing club for Crusaders Soccer Club when I was seven. Currently I am playing for Albion SC GU18, and Valhalla High School. I have a passion for the game and I'm always striving to improve. I am 5 foot 2, and I weight 115 pounds and I am a natural leader on the field. I am very competitive, and I LOVE to win. I am very strong, ambitious and aggressive and always striving for a work rate of 100 percent. Academically, I am trying to challenge myself as much as possible by taking AP classes, and striving to improve my overall GPA in anticipation of qualifying for some financial help for college. I haven't decided my exact major yet, but I am interested in pediatrics, sports medicine, and nursing. My athletic goal is to become the best player I can be, and to play at the college level someday. My sophomore year of high school I was honored to make First Team, All League as well as receiving The Most Outstanding Underclassmen award, the Valhalla high school AAA award (Athletic and Academic Achievement) and was named by the San Diego Union Tribune as " A Player To Watch" for the upcoming 2012-14 high school season. I was also named First Team, All League for my junior year 2013 high school season as well as my sophomore year. I have found over the past year, that working hard is a key factor in becoming the player you want to be. I am looking to attend a division I or II school that best fits me and my college goals.
