Raelene Mendieta '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue to play the sport I love at a college level.  Hopefully, that will help me reach my next goal; playing for the women's national team.  I've been dedicated and fortunate enough to play for many years, since the age of 4.  Throughout the years of playing, I acquired attributes such as competitiveness, being hard-working, and focused.  Being exposed to this sport at such a young age, I have learned to be well aware of who and what is around me on the field.  I consider myself a team player, always encouraging my teammates to finish until the final whistle blows.  I am willing to practice an endless amount of hours to perfect my skills in the game.  Being able to pick my classes in high school, I took advantage by enrolling in body tone classes where I take part in cross fit workouts.  My dedication to the sport shows on and off the field, as well as my passion for the game.  For eight years, I took the opportunity to sign up for multiple indoor co-ed leagues to better myself as a player.  It is my dream to continue playing soccer in college as well as pursuing my education to ensure I have a successful and stable career.
