Michelle Cordova '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal one day is to be an accomplished sports therapist. I expect to excel in not only academics but athletics as well. My other goal is to be able to play Division 1 soccer. I could bring leadership to the team, set plays, speed, aggressiveness, and never giving up. Starting from the age of seven and playing nonconsecutive games after another, I knew that I had found my passion. Soccer has not only become a sport I was just good at but a sport that has so much meaning and thinking behind it. One thing that I have learned is no matter what you have to be one step ahead of your opponent and what you decide to do is all on your shoulders. What makes me different from other recruits is that if I am injured or tired, I will still give my 100% until that whistle is blown. Another thing is I take complete responsibility over my own mistakes and wont ever try to cover it up. If you ask me to play defense because we have no one to, I'll play. It may not be my favorite position but I would do anything just to keep the team intact.
