I've been playing soccer my whole life, and my passion for the sport grows every year. My senses are always stimulated by the outdoor elements. I've bonded with so many teammates practicing and playing in the rain, under the lights, in the cold air, and under the hot sun. I get a great feeling of accomplishment when I've completed a complex drill or a long run with my teammates, and we overcame some sort of outdoor adversity. These are memories I will always keep with me.
I also really enjoy the aspect of learning a new system, perfecting that system as a team, and then implementing what we've practiced over and over in a competitive game. This adds to the satisfaction of winning. I hate losing, but losing is an opportunity to learn what I can do better. I feel that everyone can always improve, whether it's a sport, in school, or with a career.
I've been extremely fortunate to play for numerous coaches who have developed my skills, pushed me to be a better player and person, instilled the balance of sports and academics, and taught me the importance of values.
I'm looking forward to bringing my strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for soccer to a school and program focused on winning, teamwork, a competitive atmosphere, and hard work. Ultimately, I'm looking for a coach and team who will make me a better person.
