Carlee Gilbert '16 Recruiting Profile

I believe goals are achievable.  My first goal of high school was to make great friends.  I can check that off.  My second goal was to make varsity soccer and win a starting spot.  I can thankfully check that off. My future soccer goals are to play collegiately.  I know this will take hard work and I am ready.  My academic goals are to stay in Honors and AP courses through out high school.  Since I was in sixth grade I have dreamt of attending college.  Now I see myself wishing to attend grad school.  I have many interests such as cultural studies, criminology, law, leadership, writing, communications, theater and even archeology.  I am still deciding which of them will be my dream come true for life. Part of me feels I need to incorporate more than one into my career path.  I dream of being a stage performer as I love acting and singing.  I aspire to read a book for pleasure every night as I fall asleep.  In my personal life, I strive to be a kind and inspiring person for whomever crosses my path.  I dream of being independent, then one day, a wife and a parent.
