Ashley Yacks '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashley Yacks and I'm a senior at La Serna High School in Whittier, CA. I hope to major in forensic science and criminal investigation and maybe minor in kinesiology or sports medicine. I would like to play soccer in college because I can't imagine not playing soccer right now as it has played such a crucial role in my life. I work hard to not only make myself better but to make my teammates and others around me better. I believe dedication and determination are two of the most powerful characteristics a person can have especially if they are involved with team sports. I mostly play midfield (center and outside) but i can also play goalie or whatever else I'm needed to play. I can kick with both feet also. I strive to succeed in academics as well by earning an average GPA of 3.3 throughout my time in high school thus far.
