Personal Statement
Ever since I was old enough to understand the concept, it has been a goal of mine to take part in a college soccer program. In order to strive toward this goal, I work tirelessly off and on the soccer field. As a student, I aim to complete every given task to the best of my abilities. I take difficult courses (honors and advanced placement) and have found that the most effective way to learn is through challenging myself. In class, I'm not afraid to ask questions in order to reach a clear understanding of what is being taught. English has consistently been my strongest subject and is a course I thoroughly enjoy taking. I maintain a 3.6 GPA. As an athlete, I understand the importance of being a member of a team. I would consider myself to be a leader by example and a very strong, driven individual. I do my best to give a 110% in every practice and game. As a forward, my biggest attributes would be my speed and technical abilities. I have spent countless hours developing my footwork and match fitness. Because of this, I am able to create opportunities with my back towards the goal. As a result, I would describe myself as a well-rounded, dedicated person.
