Briana Hernandez '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Briana Hernandez and I am an attacking Midfielder/Forward from Southern California.  I have been involved in competitive soccer since I was 8 years old.  I am passionate about soccer and feel I have grown to be a competitive player.  I just concluded the season playing with the Arsenal ECNL Team.  I have always played on the highest levels and played with the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and have playing with them since their Pre-ECNL age group. This coming season I will play with the Los Angeles Galaxy the new established DA (USA Developmental Academy) team for 2002/2001 Girls.  I have played the forward and the midfielder positions and I am ambidextrous with my feet.  Some of my best accomplishments to date are being in the CALSouth ODP winter, summer and fall pools and making the final 18 in 2014-2015.  I also was on the USA National Youth Futsal Team 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, with one international appearance in Canada.  I also have played in many elite tournaments, like Surf Cup, and all the ECNL Showcases. Presently, I am an incoming Sophomore at Arcadia High School with a grade point average of 3.4.   On July 30, 2017, I  got Called-Up for the U-17 El Salvador National Team. 

I absolutely love competing and being a team player.  I consider myself a leader on and off the field with my strong work ethic in both school and sports.   I feel I am skilled player both on the ground and in the air.  I have also always attended and continue to attend private training, both for soccer and for the physical and the mental aspect of the game.  I play with skill and I am calm and composed on the ball.  I am ambidextrous with both feet.  I love the game of soccer and am determined to make it to the collegiate level to continue my soccer career.   I ultimately want to play and coach professional soccer.  I attended two middle school districts and hold the records at Hacienda Heights School District and at the Arcadia School district for the two mile run.  I have been a volunteer work since 12 years old, with PDCA as an Asst.
