Reilly Borges '18 Recruiting Profile

More than anything right now, I just want to play soccer in college, wherever I go. My experience in my years of playing has taught that no matter what, I love playing soccer. If I'm having a bad day, I can just go to practice and it will relax me and get whatever is bothering me out of my head. I can focus on the game instead of on my problems. It also helps me meet new people from all over--different schools and areas--and to branch out and connect through the sport.

I know that when I'm playing soccer, that's the only thing I'm thinking about. I'm thinking about what is the next play, what's the next thing that's going to happen, everything is play-by-play and I'm trying to create opportunities for us to score, to get to the goal. So that's what's on my mind when I'm playing. I'm devoted to soccer, to knowing how to be the best player I can be, and to always be "in the moment".
