Alyssa Araya '24 Recruiting Profile

I currently play center mid and center back for my club team CZ Elite 05/06 NPL Cherif where I am team captain. I recently played on the Cal South 2006 ODP team for the 2023 Far West Regional Championships as a starting center mid. I have played three seasons of Varsity soccer for Glendale High School as a center mid and have been a Scholar Athlete all three seasons. In 2022, I was invited to the Costa Rica National Team U17 training camp. I am working on obtaining my dual citizenship. My goal is to play collegiate soccer by continuing to develop as a player while challenging myself academically. My sister is playing Division 1 soccer and I am seeing first-hand the hard work and sacrifice it takes to play at that level. I am looking forward to being part of a great program and seeing what the future holds for me as a collegiate soccer player.
