Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Amanda Dunton and I am from Huntington Beach, CA. I am currently a junior at Marina High School and play for NHB Futbol Club. I am enrolled in honors and AP classes and have a 3.8 GPA. In college, I hope to achieve a quality education, major in Psychology, and go into the field of criminal justice. Besides academics, soccer is another important aspect in my life that I hope to continue at the collegiate level. On the field, I contribute in many ways such as being a consistent performer, a hard worker, and a quick learner. I am always open to learning new skills to improve my level of play and my coaches have told me that I have a high soccer IQ. As a student athlete, I plan to lead by example both on and off the field, as I realize my leadership is a reflection of my coaches, my teammates, and the school I attend.
