Personal Statement
I currently play for Slammers FC on the G03/04 ECNL RL team. After trying other sports, I started playing soccer nine years ago and immediately fell in love with the game. My main position is attacking midfielder, but I also play holding midfielder.
Learning from my current coaches and all my previous coaches has given me a greater understanding of the game. The experience has pushed me mentally and physically to challenge myself to get better as a player as well as a person.
Playing all yearlong for club and staying focused on high school academics has shown me the importance of balancing athletics and school work. I am leaning towards taking an Art History & Graphic Art major, but still want to explore other majors. My main goal is to be a part of an institution that encourages creative thinking in the classroom while continuing to develop my skills with the guidance of college coaches.
