Camila Stephens '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Camila Stephens. I am currently a Senior-Class of 2022 at Pitman High School in Turlock, California, where I play on the Varsity Girls Soccer Team.  I am an Honor Roll student taking AP and Honors courses and maintain a 3.9 GPA.  My parents being the phenomenal teachers and coaches they are have been my greatest influence and inspiration, especially my mother who immigrated to this country at my age for a better future.  I too, am the future.  I currently play club for Manteca FC 04 NPL and previously Ajax United 03 Green.  I have been playing club since age 8, and loving it!  I am versatile player capable and experienced at all positions on the field.  Most time spent in the Midfield positions.  The last few years have been quite challenging for me rehabilitating a broken ankle in 2019.  Then of course COVID 19 pandemic unfortunately has limited ALL match play opportunities in 2020 and into 2021, but has more than fueled my burning desire to train and play in college, especially at a 4 year school.  I believe my athleticism, discipline, and intellect paired with my work ethic and team commitment are my greatest attributes as a student athlete, and will make me a great fit to your team!
