Hi, my name is McKenna Rawley and I am a part of the 2023 graduating class. I have played Center Defender for as long as I can remember and then recently started training as a Striker. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and started playing competitive soccer when I was 7, which is where I fell in love with the game. I am the captain of my High school team and won all-league offensive MVP my JR year. This is where I knew I wanted to compete at the college level. Soccer has helped me develop who I am as a person. It has taught me how to be disciplined, how to balance multiple tasks at once, dedication, and how to never give up on the job at hand. These skills are difficult for many young people to be good at.
I have a great vision of the field and am very creative on and off the ball. I am very composed when I do receive the ball and always try and make the best decision with it. As a defender I am very good at cutting off angles, staying with my mark as I am very fast, and being able to take space when needed. As a forward, I make very creative runs behind the defense, and love getting the ball at my feet. I am also a very strong leader on and off the field. Thank you for your time.
