Personal Statement

My name is Julie Plonsky and I will be starting my senior year at Castle View HS in Castle Rock, CO.  This past Spring I received my third varsity soccer letter and I earned the 2014 Sabercat Commitment to Excellence Award for being the most dedicated player. I was also a 2014 CHSAA All-Academic 1st Team selection.

My club team is the Colorado Storm 97 Black coached by Ryan Schott. I have been playing club for the past eight seasons. My goal is to play collegiate soccer at a school that is also a fit for me academically.

My size and strength allow me to handle contact, maintain possession and pass to my teammates. Off the pitch, I enjoy lifting weights and other exercise regimens. In addition to my advanced studies, I am a student government officer.  Participating in several committees has provided me leadership opportunities. I make decisions that guide student life and class recognition.

I have many things to learn and I continually try to improve my game.  Soccer is my passion. I am determined to help my teams advance just as my coaches have done for me.
