Personal Statement

My name is Madalynn Hopkins, but I go by Hoppy. I’m a military child who grew up playing soccer all over the US/Europe. While living in Germany, I was blessed with the opportunity to play for Margret Kratz on the Saarland State Team and learned so much from their style of play consisting of discipline and the strong undeniable passion they have. I played for the Palatia Limbach boys' team and for SV Elversberg. I represented the US by playing for a KMC team where we won the youth U-17 Bundesliga league 2018-2019 season. I then moved to CO and was blessed to play up an age group for Broomfield 04/05 GA SC for the 2022-2023 season. For the 2023-2024 season I play for Broomfield 05/06 GA SC. I play for Grandview HS (5A) and am coming off of a state championship. I challenge myself by taking all honors, AP, and college courses. I am a year behind in the recruiting process due to injuries and moving countries. That being said, I never started truly playing on a club team here in CO until my junior year of high school. Even with tough circumstances, that did not take away my passion I have for the game and my determination to pIay at the next level. We persevere and overcome! I have more highlights on my YouTube page! https://youtube.com/@madalynnhopkins

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
