I have the perseverance to overcome obstacles and believe I would be an asset to your program with the skills I possess and continue to develop both on and off the field. After an injury in 2023, I am back and stronger than ever and I’m extremely hungry to win and not only be a difference maker for your team but I will work harder than you’ve ever seen to become a top player in your conference! I have the drive and passion for the game that would be hard to match, my shot is an absolute rocket and my non-dominate foot is now just as strong where I find myself shooting equally with both feet. As a result of my injury, I was overlooked for recruiting by top teams despite always being a top competitor and a starter in the ECNL league over the past 5 years and even being selected for the Regional ID pool after playing for the State of Colorado my first and only year trying because it was a goal of mine and I even became the top scorer on the team. As a soccer player, my strongest attributes that set me apart are my quick footwork and above all my good decision making that has come by studying the game and having good instinct by reading the field during play, which is why my coaches play me in the center attacking midfielder position where I can help to lead the team and flow of play. However, I can play anywhere on the field and I’m frequently put where our team needs the most help and I love it! I am not the one that has to always score, I do what is best for the team, so I was the leading assist on my HS Varsity team. I love challenges and I DO NOT lose against even the biggest or tallest players, I’ve got bite and grit without fear but not to the detriment of my team, as I rarely am called for fouls. My aggressive play enables me to be a dominant threat by getting out of tight spaces to set up offensive plays while consistently contributing to defensive efforts by becoming one of the best in the game at the ECNL level at cutting off passing lanes. I’m constantly working on my footwork in my free time and coaches and teammates compliment me on my willingness to put in the hard work to always improve. I am also easy to coach because I want pushed so I look positively at direction and constructive feedback so I can get better. I always will love and get along with my teammates because I’m a team player. I am a dedicated athlete on and off the field by eating healthy, taking a weights class over the past three years as well as a speed and agility program at a nearby fitness center to strengthen my core and foundation to give me an edge over other players. I’m a leader on every team I play on and a vocal player that communicates well with teammates and keeps everyone positive and pumped-up to play.
Off the field, I am a top student that takes academics very seriously with multiple honors classes and a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.43 out of 4.0 and unweighted 4.0 without one B in my HS career and currently ranked in the top 3% of my over 400 student class. I am a well-rounded person that is involved in my community by volunteering my time coaching younger players that are first learning the game of soccer and I frequently do walks and runs to support research for both cancer as well as Celiac Disease.
