My name is Jennifer Lindsey Stroud, I go by Lindsey.  I would like to play Division 1 Soccer in College, at a school that offers the area of study that I am interested in.  I am looking for a college that can offer me a challenge both academically and athletically.

Athletically I can offer a college my soccer experience which began at the age of 4.  I played on the top league team for REAL Colorado since the age of 11, where we won two State Championships, and I have been on REAL Colorado Elite Clubs National League team for 3 years which is when they joined the ECNL.  I have played as a starter on the Varsity team for my high school since I was a freshman.  Both years the team won the Continental League championship.  This year the team won the 5A Colorado State Championship in overtime.  I was awarded an All-Continental League Honorable Mention, and I have been invited to the ECNL Player Development Program training session May 2012.  I am currently ranked 19th in the Rocky Mountains and Southwest region on TopDrawersoccer.com.  I am also working at Coerver Camp as apprentice/assistant coach this summer.

Academically I am looking to major in either Architecture/Engineering or Business/Finance.  I currently am taking STEM classes in science and math, AP courses and honors classes. I was the only sophomore to be recommended to a college enrollment course in Business where I earned the highest grade in the class.  I was also asked to be the spokesperson for my high school to go and talk at schools regarding open enrollment.  I have lettered in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) (2), Academic Excellence and Varsity Soccer (2).

Outside of school and off the pitch, I work with physically and mentally challenged athletes in both soccer and basketball.  I do volunteer work at the Mullen Home for the Aged and Volunteers of America, and am also a member of KEY Club. I will be doing mission work in Brazil this summer.
