Mia Swain '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Mia Swain. I currently attend Northglenn High School as a junior in the graduating class of 2021. I play club soccer at Westminster Soccer Club on the 03G Orange team. I have been a starter for about 7 years for my club teams and have moved from Alaska (Velocity 03G) to a few club teams in colorado that include Broomfield 03G majeista, and my current team 03G Orange at WAFC. I am a very focused and determined player. Once moving from Alaska I had to do extra running after every training and private trainings to continue to work on my skill. Being from outside the state I had to work twice as hard to be noticed. My primary position is Center Back or defensive mid with years of experience as a forward. 

On the girls' varsity team at Northglenn High School, I play a prominent role as a starting center back. I have been nominated as the team defensive MVP as well as a second-team all-conference player as a freshman. Following being a first-team all-conference player my sophomore year all being from the 5A EMAC conference. The Northglenn high school team took first in leagues following a 15-year loss previously.
