Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. Growing up and playing many different levels of competitive soccer has taught me how to become an all-around player. With that came a great desire to become the best player I could be. My goal of becoming a college athlete has given me the determination and strength of character that is crucial for success.  I will give my all to reach my goal and support my team!

When it comes to playing the game of soccer I am a very strategic quick thinker, and I am also quick on my feet. I have always tried to be the best leader possible for the team. Recently playing at the highest level of club soccer has taught me how to set an example for others no matter the situation. Moving onto my high school career, being a leader has helped me become a confident player that will do whatever I can to help the team. I have a very coachable personality and I am always looking for ways to get better whether that is on the field or in the classroom.

My education is paramount to me. I work really hard in my classes and I hold a 3.97 GPA. My career goal is to become an Athletic Trainer. In order to accomplish this goal, I am taking as many classes that my school offers to better my education and prepare me for college and my career. I am participating in my high school's Concurrent Enrollment program which offers different college courses through Pikes Peak Community College. I am also participating in Student Council. I love being able to find ways for our school and community to come together!

It is really important to me to be able to consider all my options to find the best fit for me academically and athletically. With all that being said, I want to compete at the highest level I can while being able to achieve my career goal as well. I aim to be the best student, athlete, all-around role model and teammate I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
