Personal Statement

I have enjoyed a passion for competing in soccer for most of my life, starting at age 6, and truly desire to continue this passion throughout college. Having started as a fullback, switched to midfielder, then to forward as I developed speed of play and shooting skills, I am very flexible on the field to play positions as needed. In addition, I have developed strength and skill with both feet in passing and shooting. The past two years, I was awarded "Player's Most Valuable Player" by my teammates. I believe commitment and determination in training as a team creates opportunities in the game. I look forward to competing on both my travel and high school teams this season and am eagerly hopeful to play next year in college.
