nicole Santiago '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Santiago. I am 5'0 weight 132 pounds. I started playing soccer at 8 years old with the Taurinos team. With this team I developed my technique in ball handling, shooting and precision. Upon arriving in the United States, I started studying at Ridge Community High School in Davenport, FL where I was able to enter the Varsity Lady Bolts team playing the middle field and forward position. In the school season I had 24 games, 15 goals and 11 assists. I went to school in Puerto Rico my entire life and came to FL in October after hurricane Maria. My working plan is work hard every day, I do extra work at gym, track and at soccer  field in Puerto Rico with the earn of a scholarship so I can finish my degree and play in honor to the college that gives me the opportunity to show my skills and demonstrate what I’m about.  I have the interest, the potential and the ability to be chosen. My GPA now is 2.70 and I’m working on learning English every day. I take tutoring at RCHS on Wednesdays from 2pm-4pm. I am ambidextrous using both hands and feet, very useful on the field but I favor my left.
