Sofia Aguilar '18 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, my name is Sofia Aguilar. I am a Junior at Hawaii Preparatory Academy.  I play the beautiful game of soccer. I have been playing competitively for 8 years and counting. I have participated in multiple tournaments and show cases. Attending a small college prep school on an island, makes it a challenge to showcase yourself. However, HPA is state recognized for it's superb athletic and academic program. Being apart of the soccer ohana, and experiencing 3 state championship titles in a row, along with 7 B.I.I.F (Big Island Interscholastic Federation) titles is something truly unforgettable. In addition to soccer, I also participate in running for our track team, and have won the women's state title this past year. Not being in a school that provides year round soccer, I do my best to train on my own and weight lift consistently.  If given the chance to train for soccer year round I would be able to take my skills to a whole other level. I am an A, B student and maintain a 3.5 GPA . I do engage myself in AP and Honor classes that are offered at my school. I am a very coachable, hardworking and determined student athlete.
