Aeryn Hatico '23 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, my name is Aeryn Hatico. Thank you for the opportunity to share my goals and my passion for soccer. I currently attend Pearl City High School. Being a scholar athlete has taught me to balance the demands of sports and academics. It has pushed me to plan ahead, set goals and thrive to be the best me. My long term goal is to enter the medical field, and I am confident that Pearl City High School will provide me the resources and tools to do so.  I enjoy helping people and have numerous volunteer hours supporting my community.

Although being a student-athlete can be difficult, I always try strive to do my best in the classroom and on the field. I think my greatest soccer accomplishment was making the Hawaii State ODP Team and then being invited to ODP West Region ID Camp in Oregon. From a very young age my passion has always been soccer and my love for the sport has always driven me to overcome any obstacle I have faced. Soccer has allowed me to continuously grow as a person and a player. I had many opportunities to meet and  play with many other players and coaches from different states, which has allowed me to learn about myself and taught me many life lessons that I will carry throughout college and life. I am excited about the opportunities to play for the State of Hawaii and for Pearl City High School, and look forward to continuing to play at the college level.
