My name is Allie Shiraki. I began playing soccer at age 5. I immediately fell in love with the game! When I entered high school I was prepared to play and compete because of my many years of experience and excellent coaching. I played on the Honoka'a High School Varsity team for four years. I was selected as a Team Captain my junior and senior year. My dream was to play collegiate ball. I loved both softball and soccer and was honored when Benedictine University Springfield offered me an athletic scholarship in softball and an opportunity to play soccer as well. Collegiate soccer brought new challenges and thrills. I bonded with my new teammates, earned a starting position, played every game, and learned a new style of play. My dreams had come true and life was great until last week when I found out that Benedictine University Springfield would be closing their doors. The University will become an Adult Learning Center. I had to pick myself up, remember my dreams and move forward. I am an enthusiastic, physical, skilled player looking for another opportunity. Please put me on your radar!
