Lucy Murphy '18 Recruiting Profile

     As a college student, I plan to receive a good education, working hard on my studies while playing soccer. I’ve been playing soccer for 12 years, playing for both club and school teams. I am a hard worker both on and off the field. Because of my tenacity, my coaches depend on me as one of the two main center backs, playing the full ninety minutes for both my club and high school teams. My speed and ability to anticipate plays makes me an effective and strong part of my team’s defense.  I also appreciate the importance of teamwork and work hard to make my teammates feel necessary and important. In order to improve my skills as a soccer player, I listen to my coaches directions and advice to help me grow as a player.

     I will be a good addition to any team because I work hard and always give my best effort.  I work well with others and always have a positive attitude on the field.
