My Personal Goal in life is to work in the field of Sports Medicine and play soccer. I chose Sport's Medicine because of my passion for soccer and athletes. My dad has always taught me that a healthy athlete is a great athlete. I want to spread this message and be involved in helping athletes stay healthy and get back to their sport sooner!
My dream since I was a little girl, has been to play in the World Cup! That dream has only gotten bigger as I have grown. I knew I had to be dedicated and make a plan for accomplishing my dream. I have played and been on the Illinois ODP State Team five years in a row; playing on this year's team in the ODP National Championship in Phoenix, AZ. I began playing travel soccer when I was 7 years old; I played a year up each year. I decided when I was in 6th grade that I needed to play more completive teams and was able to play on teams in Naperville, IL in MRL. I traveled 2.5 hours; four to five times per week for trainings and games. Many games were out of state and was able to improve my game by doing so. Prior to my Freshman year in High School, I was selected to be on the Eclipse USYS team; but due to the location, I had to decline. My Freshman year I continued to play travel soccer in the U17 Division and was successful. As a Freshman, I was a starter on the Varsity squad. I earned several awards; 2013 All Metro Girls Soccer Team Honorable Mention (only Freshman), 2012-2013 Dispatch/Argus Girls' Soccer All-Star Team, All Western Big-6 Conference Team. In my Sophomore season, I was a starting Varsity player and one of the team captains. I won All-Conference, All-Metro, All-Sectional Honorable Mention, and Offensive MVP. During travel in the fall (2014), I was one of the starting forwards and played U18. I helped the team win two tournaments. In the fall of 2015, I started to play for a new team in the Quad Cities named Sporing QC. We have played in three friendly games against a local colleges reserve team, St Ambrose University. we tied the first game 0-0, lost the second game 1-2 and I scored our only goal, and the third time we played them 3-2, i scored one goal and had two assists. We played in the SLSG College Showcase Tournament and only got to play two games because of the rain. We won both games and I was apart of 4 of the 6 goals scored. wen won the first game 3-2 and the second game 3-0. Over Thanksgiving I will be playing on the Region II 1998 Girls ODP team in Boca Raton Florida.
I would make the best candidate for your team because I strive to become a better player on and off of the field! I am a student of the game, I watch professional games and team videos to learn ways to improve my game. Then implement these skills on the field. I am committed to the game and my team! I am a team player and a good sportsman! I am positive towards my teammates and opposition!
As a student, I am involved in many extra-curricular activities. I am an Advisory Board member of SIGMA, Ambassadors, and Student Council. I am an active member of my community by volunteering in different areas. I volunteer at an Elementary School at the beginning of the school year to help teachers start their year. I have also helped with soccer field clean-up and tear-downs. I am a strong student! I have increased study time and will go in to talk to teachers for extra help. My teachers tell me I am a leader in the classroom and a conscientious worker! I work extremely hard to be the best person that I can be!
