Personal Statement
My desire is to play four years of soccer at a collegiate level and attend a school that will challenge me and shape my future. I have interests in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and Sports Management, but I am open to trying anything. Coming from a competitive family and soccer team I would enjoy a highly competitive athletic program. I currently play for NSA in Naperville, Illinois. Greg Muhr is the head coach. I am also playing on the varsity team at my high school, St. Francis with Jim Winslow as the head coach. I believe that I am a leader and I always cheer for my team and push them to be the best, including myself. I strive to be the best person I can be on and off the field. I think I am different from other recruits because when I am on the field my personality shows during the game. I am a good teammate that will always be supportive. Throughout the years I have played numerous sports, sometimes two sports at once. Soccer, basketball, tennis, swim team, track, and volleyball are all sports that I have participated in. I always try my best academically. Freshman year I took honors Spanish 2 and that class challenged me, but it also showed me that I was capable of doing well in an honors class. It gave me confidence academically and athletically.
