To quote my coach, “I wish there were three of you. One for Forward, one for Midfield, and one for Defense.” While I prefer to play forward or offensive midfield, I am comfortable playing defense when the game dynamics require another strong player in the back. My strengths on the field include reading the game, being a vocal leader and having a contagious passion. I pride myself on being a playmaker and creating scoring chances for myself and others.
Judaism impacted my soccer passion a lot because of the morals and lessons it taught me and how it has shaped me as a player and a person. Through lessons of selflessness and togetherness, I truly learned to become a team player. Being a four time captain on two different club teams (year round, not just seasonally), and a three time basketball captain, I’ve also learned my capabilities as a leader to confidently hold and lead my team. Taking every opportunity to learn and get better makes me not only a dedicated player, but also a stronger player mentally and physically.
I am still very open minded about my college selection. I am focused on majoring in Kinesiology or Physical Therapy. I am also looking for a school with an active Jewish community where I can connect.
