Personal Statement
As a soccer player, I would love to play Division 2 or Division 3 soccer. I am a very coachable and versatile player. I can play nearly every position, though my strongest are outside mid, outside defense, and center defense. I have played soccer since I was four. It took a little while, but after a few games, I fell in love with the sport. I couldn't think of a better activity to have spent my last 12 year with than soccer. I've had some rough coaches and some rough teammates, but I've always been an optimistic person and been a leader on the field. I am a very hard worker and a strong communicator.
As for academics, one of my main goals for my high school career would be to graduate in the top 25 of my class. As is stands, I am in the top 15 with a GPA of 4.64 (3.97 unweighted). I have been in some sort of advanced program since third grade, been in honors classes whenever possible and took AP classes starting last year (when they were first available). Right now I am in 3 AP classes holding about an A- average in them.
I'm not exactly sure what field I'd like to go into for a career, though one of my major considerations is pediatric medicine. Although my career path is not exactly set, I do have some aspirations (though I know some of them probably will not happen). If I could do everything I'd wanted, by the end of my life I would have opened up a dog shelter, one much nicer and healthier than puppy mills or pounds. I would also have studied most cultures of the world and learned the maximum languages possible for someone. I would love to either learn that knowledge while traveling or use it to travel the world. I would also love to be the voice of a character in an animated movie, particularly Disney. And if I study pediatric medicine (or some other field of medicine) I would love to travel and partake in mission trips.
