Personal Statement
From the first time I played soccer, I fell in love with the sport. I have been an avid soccer player since I was 8. I started with the Britain Soccer Club camp to where I am now a Varsity starter and on one of the top Premiere soccer team and club in the state. I am a very versatile and strong player. I am definitely aware of my requirements on the field as well as in the class room. I work very hard at my school work, and I am proud to say that I have maintained a high GPA. I have made the honor roll every semester since I have been in school. I am a member of the National Honor Society and received numerous academic awards. Outside of school, I keep busy working on soccer skills or training to increase my stamina and endurance. I am involved in several community service organizations, such as Key Club and the Girls Scouts and am currently working on my Gold Award. I keep busy always doing something for sports or for school. When I go to college, I know that I'll be even busier because of the professions I am considering. I love science and math, so I have narrowed down my options to two main ones: Physics and Pre-Medical. Both programs would require a tremendous amount of attention, but I know I can manage it and be a part of a school's soccer program. Soccer is a huge part of my life now, and I want to keep it that way. I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college, and plan to make that dream come true!
