I am an ambitious individual who strives to learn and develop under the guidance of those who are at the top of their field, and then use those skills to become an expert myself. My passion for soccer reflects in my commitments to three teams: Three Lions United MRL, Griffith High School, and the Indiana State ODP Team. I believe my versatility sets me apart from other players of my caliber, in that I am comfortable using both my right and left foot on the pitch, as well as playing multiple positions. According to the Post-Tribune, I am known as a "lockdown center back"; however, with my energy, I am able to also take on the role as center midfield and drive the team forward. Many of my coaches have told me I am very coachable, learn fast, and have a great understanding of the game. My MVP status extends beyond me as an individual by staying after practice tutoring and assisting my teammates with additional skill training to maintain their eligibility. I am currently enrolled in three AP classes, involved in nine different clubs at school, and volunteer my time to many charitable organizations to include raising $5000.00 for Riley Children's Hospital as well as maintaining a 4.5 GPA. Offseason, I continue to train with strength and conditioning training to avoid injuries along with keeping a nutritional balanced diet.
Heading into the college level, I hope to make an impact on the team on and off the field. My goal is to become a trauma nurse to aid in emergency situations. Nurses have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in peoples lives everyday and that is what I look forward to when entering the nursing program.
