Lanie Whitehill '20 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to play collegiate soccer.  I started played soccer in first grade as a fun after school activity, but quickly after I began to love the sport and get very competitive, and soon I joined a club team.  Ever since then, soccer has been a huge part of my life.   Soccer has taught me how to be be a leader and a team player.  On the field I pride myself in my passing ability and the way I read the game.  I also am very good in the air, as my position gives me the opportunity to show off my ability in winning 50/50 balls.   Academically I am doing very well and I would like to become a surgeon.  I happen to love school and I treat my studies seriously.  I will be as excited to learn in a classroom as I will to be on the pitch.
