Maura Bennett '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete.  I pride myself on my competitive nature both on and off the field. I work as hard in the classroom to maintain my 3.9 GPA as I do playing soccer.   My character is best defined by my faith, integrity, and work ethic.  I always do my best to put others before myself and treat everyone I meet with respect.    I think that one of the things that sets me apart from other athletes is my will to win and my fierce competitiveness.  I always prepare and train to win. I am also a very unselfish player.  I enjoy setting my teammates up for success as much if not more than myself.  Another one of my strengths is being a leader on and off the field sometimes vocally but usually by example.  I help my teammates perform to their potential every time we step on the field, even if its only practice.  As a player I use my athleticism to gain advantage over opponents.  I am also very skilled technically and have a good tactical understanding and ability to play quickly under pressure.  I love to play soccer with a possession based style making many quick passes.
