Personal Statement
My name is Elizabeth Thevenote and I am from Lafayette, Louisiana. I attend Ovey Comeaux High School and am hoping to go into the Medical field of some sort. I have a 3.8 GPA and I was captain of my Highschool soccer team as a freshman and received the award for most valuable offensive player that same year. I have played soccer since I was five years old and I have always had a passion for it. When I am on the field it is as if the field is all that exists and I can focus. Soccer is my passion and I have always wanted to play for my local college here in Lafayette. Now that I am older I would like to see what my options are. My coaches over the past five years of select ball have played me in various positions such as forward, outside midfielder (left and right), left defender, and center midfielder. Honestly, as long as I am on the field it does not really matter where I play. I feel as though I can encourage and direct the team in a positive way. I am looking for a college that will grant me playing time as long as I put in the work to get the time on the field and will prepare me in my career.
