Kiley Rourke '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kiley Rourke, class of 2022. I am a 5'8  holding and attacking midfielder from Shreveport, Louisiana. I play club for CABOSA, Shreveport United Soccer Club as well as Renegades 03 ECNL.  My 4th year as a starting varsity player will begin in October and I will maintain as joint captain for the 3rd year for Captain Shreve High School. I am a dominant right footed player, however I am comfortable with and often use both feet. 

I have played soccer since I was three years old, and began playing competitively a year early with the 03 age group at the age of eight. Throughout my soccer career I have never made a second team. I work hard in season and during the off season to help secure my spot on the A team as a starter and contributor to the game. In the 13 years I have been playing, I have had the chance to play every position, and know the roles each position needs to fulfill regardless of the formation being played. I enjoy playing anywhere on the field, however the past few years I have mainly played the 6, 8, or 10 for both my club and high school teams. 

I am a leader both on and off the field, when practicing and playing I look to encourage my teammates to push themselves. I was voted in to the captain position as a sophomore, by my teammates and coaches on my varsity high school team.

My GPA is 4.87 and I have been taking AP classes to help myself get better acquainted with what a college level course is like. I am thinking of studying history, pre-law, or education and would love the opportunity to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level.
