I am a very dedicated soccer player who capitalizes on every opportunity to improve. I’m a current student athlete at Seton Hill University, participating on the women’s soccer team in theNCAA DII PSAC. During my time here, I have played in 30 games, making 10 starts and averaging around 40 minutes per game despite having struggled with minor injuries. My freshman year, I made 8 starts, one of which was our PSAC conference tournament game.
Prior to my time here at Seton Hill, I have 10+ years of club experience, playing in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, and on teams in the NPL-EDP, and Super-Y league, in addition to 3 years of high school varsity play. I spent 10 years with my NPL-EDP team, 4 years on the Washington Spirit Super-Y team, and 2 years playing for the Washington Spirit/Baltimore Armour DA. In my years of playing, I have been to the Super-Y National Finals 3 times and was named to the Super-Y North American Finals All-Tournament team. The following year, I was selected to be a part of the regional scouting series for Super-Y and headlined the Super-Y National Player Pool. That same year, I was selected as a Super-Y National All-Star and sent to San Antonio FC for their USL Pro-experience. I was also selected to practice with the Washington Spirit Reserves throughout my time with the organization. I am a very versatile player, have excellent speed, and have played every position on the field except goal keeper.
When it comes to the classroom, I’ve had the pleasure of being named a conference scholar athlete each season here, as well as being named to Seton Hill’s Dean’s list multiple times. I am a Psychology and Criminal Justice double major with a cumulative GPA of a 3.8 and I take my academics very seriously. I am a part of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at SHU as well as the Criminal Justice club. I have created a mentor program involving campus police and SHU students for the Criminal Justice program that is planned to be implemented at some point within the next couple of years.
Although I have enjoyed my time here, I’m looking for a larger school than I am currently attending in order to get the college experience I truly want. I am looking for a good fit for me and hope to have soccer continue to be a part of my collegiate experience wherever I may end up.
