I was a 2 year Varsity Captain at Hampden Academy. Previously, I was a captain for my travel, River City and middle school team, and started 3 consecutive years for the 2002 ODP team. In addition to these teams, I am the starting Dutch Soccer Academy United goalie. I am the Vice President of our class, an inducted member of the National Honor Society, and also participate on the Math Team and in the ASB Leadership program. While my focus has always been soccer, I enjoy playing Unified Basketball, snowboarding, and softball and am a certified basketball coach through Special Olympics Maine. I do personal goalie training with a certified trainer. I am also very interested in coaching in the future, and often coach younger kids through my school or work as a volunteer coach with the local Coldbrook Travel Soccer Club (Youth). As a goalie, some of my greatest strengths are my ability to anticipate play, my reaction time/speed, and my leadership/vocality. I know the game from multiple perspectives as I have spent the last 4 years touring the countries top tournaments as a referee.
