My goals are to play soccer at a collegiate level while I am going to school with a major in athletic training. Once I have finished my schooling, I want to purse my soccer career to the professional level.
When I first started playing soccer I loved being in the field playing forward or midfield and making goals because that was what I was good at, I would score in almost every single game I played in from age 3 to 11. I was aggressive and quick and sturdy on my feet . I played recreational co-ed soccer from ages 3-10 and finally was able to tryout for a premier team at Tucson Soccer Academy and our team came in 2nd in the Ft Lowell Shootout for U11 Girls. Then I moved to Maine where in summer 2011 I tried out for a premier team and made it as a field player for Central Maine United U12G. Team needed a goalkeeper so coach had girls pick a number to determine who wold play in goal during an indoor game... I happened to have the winning goalkeeper number. While i was nervous and scared I LOVED it. Needless to say I have been hooked every since. While I have occasionally gone back into the field as a player, I find that i am more comfortable in the goal. I take full advantage of all goalkeeping clinics and goalkeeping camps and personal fitness and goalkeeper training opportunities that I possibly can. I eat, sleep and live soccer. I adjust my lifestyle to my soccer by eating healthy and staying in shape but I do not deprive myself of the simple pleasures of life. For some people soccer is only certain seasons but for me soccer is all seasons be it game play or training. I attend a few College summer camps as well as other vacation camps to better my skill. Play in summer league with high school team when I am not at a goalie camp. I believe hardwork and commitment will get me where I need to be. Soccer is not a job, it's a passion.
