I began playing soccer on a travel team at the age of five and have loved the game since. The soccer field is a safe place to me, when I lace up my cleats and step on the field nothing else matters other than doing what I love. I am a multi-sport athlete (cross country, basketball, and soccer) and have been since third grade. I have always worked hard to be the best player I can possibly be. Because of my work ethic and strive to become better I have been recognized by my coaches as an extremely coachable and hardworking athlete who never accepts “good enough". I practice with the means of always trying to improve by working on skills and basics or learning something new. Being a soccer player means one needs to know that there is no top, there is always room to achieve more, looking to get better, striving higher and further. Besides my strong work ethic, what continues to define me as a player is my natural leadership ability (captain of my school’s soccer team), my field vision (center back), my defensive ability to break down plays and my speed which have been developed by years of constant sports and training. My dream has always been to play soccer at the highest collegiate level I could, attending a University that also offers academic excellence. Like on the field, I also work very hard in the classroom. The school I play for will be getting a skilled and hard working soccer player committed to the game and will always give 110%.
