Olyvia Putnam '16 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Olyvia Jordan Putnam. I am from Zeeland Michigan. I play defensive midfield for Zeeland East High School and attacking midfield for my USA club team.  I have five years of club soccer experience and three years of varsity soccer experience. I will be graduating in the 2016 class.
   I love to lead by example and be a person anyone on my team feels comfortable and happy to talk to. Over the past three years on varsity, my leadership skills have only improved. I believe communication on and off the field is a huge factor in a teams success. Believing in this, I always do my best to communicate with my teammates! 
   I've been playing soccer ever since kindergarten. What started as a hobby quickly turned into my passion. Some of my biggest goals were reached when I started playing and starting for my schools varsity team as a freshman. But, one of my most important goals yet is to play soccer for a college team! 
   I always work hard and take advantage of every opportunity I have to get better. To me, there are always ways to improve. I constantly work on skills, like footwork, and work to help myself and my team to reach full potential.
