Sophia Mueller '20 Recruiting Profile

Greeting Coaches,

My Name is Sophia Mueller and I live in North Muskegon Michigan. I attend North Muskegon High School which has a very high academic standard. Achieving good grades is challenging while participating in Travel soccer during the Fall and High School soccer in the Spring. My academic weight includes Advanced/AP French, Honors English, and involving myself in extra-curricular activities such as Choir and the French Club.

My passion for soccer has a long lineage back to Stockport England where my grandfather grew up before coming to the States. Playing in the front yard with my brother at age four started my mission to play college soccer. Over the past eleven years, I have been playing soccer, and fall more and more in love with the sport every day. As for my more dominant foot, I am ambidextrous. I have made it my absolute goal to train my feet, and work continuously until they are both at the skill level that I can smoothly transition from one foot to the other.

This was a very successful year for me. My Sophomore GPA was 3.95.  I played outside forward for my North Muskegon high school . My team went 21-1 only allowing 3 goals all season making it to the State semi finals. Hard work and dedication earned me All Conference, All Region, All District, All-Academic Team and All-State FIRST team, scoring 51 goals and 19 assists.
